    Early Years Entitlement funding

We are pleased to offer government-funded early years entitlement places to support families with childcare costs. This means that eligible children can attend our setting for a number of free hours each week, making high-quality early education accessible to everyone.

At Fleur de Lys, we provide funded places for the children of working families from the term after the turn 9 months, until they go to school, for up to 30 hours a week. The universal 15 hours for all children from the term after they turn 3 and for 2 year olds from Families in Receipt of Additional Support (FRAS). FRAS families must claim their eligibility code from Lincolnshire County Council.

All funded sessions are fully integrated into our daily routines, ensuring every child enjoys the same engaging activities and nurturing environment, whether funded or privately paid. You can choose to use your funded hours flexibly across the week, subject to availability, and we are here to discuss the options that best fit your family’s needs.

To access your child’s early years entitlement, you will need to complete a funding form and provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate. For the extended 30 hours, you will also need a code from the government’s website and provide your national insurance number so that your code can be verified with Lincolnshire County Council. We are always happy to help with paperwork and answer your questions.

It is important to seek your child’s code early and before the start of the term that they will be eligible in. ALL working families codes MUST be re-verified every 3 months by the family to ensure that the child remains eligible. If this is not done the family will be liable for the full payment of fees.

    1st April and 31st August 1st September
    1st September and 31st December 1st January

This single daily payment includes all food and drink during the funded hours (both snack times and our homecooked 2 course lunch). In addition, we ask all parents to consider paying an additional voluntary contribution of just £1.20 per funded day (or part day).
