The Early Years Entitlement for 2 year olds and 3 & 4 year olds
We offer the Government funded education for 2 year olds, which enables them to access a maximum of 15 hours per week, term time only (taken over 38 weeks) or 12 hours over 48 weeks of the year. It is not currently available to all parents so if you are interested in knowing more about who is eligible for these spaces please ask Claire. Our 2 year old funded sessions that are available are; 9am-12pm, 1-4pm and 9-3pm.
Every 3 year old is entitled to 15 hours of Government funded education from the term following their 3rd birthday. At Fleur De Lys pre-school children are able to access this free entitlement over either 38 weeks (the school year) or over 48 weeks of the year.
Your child may be eligible for 30 hours of government funded childcare. You will need to visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check. If you require more information on the process please speak to either Alice or Claire. The funded sessions offered for all 3&4 year olds are; 9am – 12pm, 1-4pm and 8:30am – 4pm.
We will not make any additional charges a condition of accessing the free entitlement hours e.g. hot meals, additional hours, or a deposit, however, parents may choose to purchase extras. All parents will be asked to sign a contract which clearly sets out the funded hours their child will access and any extras they have chosen to purchase.
2 year olds

We offer these hours Monday-Friday between 9am and 4pm either as a 3, 4 or 6 hour session, please speak to either Alice or Claire about your requirements.
3 year olds

We offer 3 and 4 year old funding between the hours of 8.30am – 4pm Monday-Friday in either 3, 4, 6 or 7.5 hour sessions.
